UBII successfully completed a large-scale livelihood skills training program for over 200 unemployed youth from displaced communities in the Garasbaley area. The training focused on practical trades such as tailoring, carpentry, and small business development.
The program aimed to reduce unemployment and dependency by equipping young people with hands-on skills they can use to generate income and support their families. Participants received both technical training and basic entrepreneurship knowledge.
As a result of this initiative, many graduates are now starting small businesses or seeking employment with improved confidence and stability. UBII continues to expand such programs to reach more youth across the Banadir region.
